You might be tired of hearing some coach and bodybuilder K.O.L said that you need A LOT of protein in order to progress, to be bigger etc...
How much are "a lot" exactly? For people (most of us) who not only want to keep their muscle size but also want them to be much bigger as they workout really hard. We need about X (your own body weight in kilogram)*(1.8 to 3.5) gram of protein per day.
That sound alot, but you can find this in most animals products like beef, eggs, fish etc...,vegetable and beans.
Is it really necessary to use whey? As you can see, eating the right food can clearly provides you the amount of protein that you need per day. Of course Whey protein is a great way to have more protein without eating more food if you are a picky eater. But IT IS NOT A MUST.
I hope you guys are no longer confusing about protein. Be strong kings!
